Our Professional Assessment is one of the certifying routes towards international certifications. PRM provides an accreditation of your competence. This means that once you are assessed and approved for the award you will be deemed as competent by assessment and experience. The program 'simply' requires that you provide evidence of relevant competencies against the professional standards. It is a process comparable in level to any of the other certifications into recognitions and is pitched at global Level.
How do I prove my competency?
You will need to demonstrate your competence against two performance outcomes for each certification field during assment
(a) The knowledge indicators.
(b) The operational indicators.
All assments comprise of solving complex case studies, working papers, reports, proposals,
etc.; in fact, any competency that demonstrates the relevant competence your chosen field of certification. Evidence may also be generated during tape recorded interviews conducted by the assessor with yourself and our specified colleagues.
Written Narrative
During your assment you will be required required to provide a written narrative (story board) that provides the Assessor with sufficient detail to make a judgment as to whether you meet both the and Knowledge indicators and Operational Your narrative should:
- Put your evidence (case study, any of your related company policy into context so that it is clear what it comprises.
- Demonstrate your personal competence against both the operational indicators (OIs) and knowledge indicators (KIs).
An example of a narrative and format will be provided during your assment. Where you refer to your specific documentary evidence where you will put the appropriate reference.
It is acceptable to combine several operational indicators on one narrative where the evidence is used to demonstrate competence.
